12-Cavity PET Preform Injection Mould

Product Overview

The plate is equipped with 12 independent stainless steel cavity inserts for forming the outer contour, neck thread and shoulder of PET bottle blanks. Each insert has dedicated cooling circuit holes and positioning bolt holes. Multiple blue & orange cooling water pipes are connected to separate spiral cooling channels inside each cavity to control PET crystallization and transparency. 

Independent Detachable Stainless Steel Cavity Inserts
  • Cavity insert material: S136H / STAVAX high polish stainless steel, hardness 42–48 HRC, nitrided anti-rust treatment
  • Each cavity is a separate interchangeable insert, convenient for single cavity maintenance, replacement and size modification
  • Inner cavity mirror polished to Ra ≤0.02μm, eliminate haze, silver streaks and flow lines for crystal clear PET preforms

Dual Column Balanced 12-Cavity Layout
2×6 symmetrical vertical cavity layout with optimized hot runner manifold system, equal melt flow distance to every cavity, ensuring consistent preform weight, wall thickness and neck thread precision across all 12 cavities.

Independent Spiral Conformal Cooling Per Cavity
Every single cavity insert is built with full surrounding spiral water cooling channels, separated inlet & outlet circuits. Fast heat exchange shortens injection cycle time and effectively prevents PET material crystallization, white fog and uneven wall thickness defects on bottle shoulder & neck areas.

Precision Thread & Neck Forming Structure
Each cavity insert integrates precise bottle mouth thread forming ring, tight tolerance control to guarantee perfect leak-proof matching with standard plastic caps after blow molding. Standard neck sizes 28mm, 30mm, 38mm, 48mm customizable.

Heavy Rigidity Food-Grade Mould Base
Thickened high-rigidity 718H pre-hardened steel mould base, resistant to high PET injection pressure long-term continuous production. All contact steel meets food contact safety standards.
